Cleared4 by NIVHA
For employers

Testing that fits the way your sites actually run

Cleared4 was built for employers who need to test when the need arises, not when a collector can get there: construction, transport, manufacturing, utilities and any safety-critical workplace with people spread across sites.

For cause and post-incident

When something has happened, the window matters. Raise the request and a NIVHA collector joins as soon as they claim it, with no travel time.

Random and unannounced

Run random selections on your own timetable. Because the collector is remote, a random test does not announce itself with a van in the car park.

Pre-employment

Screen new starters at the site they will work on, on their first day, without holding up their start.

Multiple sites

One account, a kiosk at each site, one set of results, with each request tied to the site and kiosk it came from.

Your policy, applied consistently

Set up once, run the same way every time

NIVHA sets up your account with your sites, your kiosks, your alcohol policy level and the people allowed to raise requests. The collector applies that policy on every call, so a breath reading means the same thing at every site.

  • Your alcohol policy level, applied to every breath result
  • Named site managers with their own PINs; anyone can be removed in a moment
  • Your own logo on the kiosk and the pages the person being tested sees
  • Results and records in one place, for every site

No policy yet?

NIVHA has helped many employers write and roll out a drug and alcohol policy that stands up in practice. Mention it when you book a demo and we will include it in the conversation.

What Cleared4 asks of your site

Not much, and nothing technical.

A briefed colleague

Your Remote Collection Assistant is a member of your own staff, briefed by NIVHA before their first session. They handle the sealed kit and the breath tester only as the collector directs and never read a result.

An iPad and a room

A paired iPad on a stand, kept on charge, and a private room with a table. That is the whole set-up.

Fifteen minutes' notice

The person being tested should have had nothing to eat, drink, smoke or vape for fifteen minutes before the samples. The collector confirms this on the call.

For the person being tested

Clear, respectful and the same for everyone

The person being tested sees each step on the kiosk as the collector reaches it, hears the consent statements read aloud, and can ask the collector anything at any point. They can also open the session on their own phone to read what to expect, answer the medication question privately and sign.

They are told the session is recorded before they consent, and they can decline. A refusal is recorded as a refusal, with their signature, not dressed up as a result.

Many sites employ people whose first language is not English. On request, the steps, consent statements and what-to-expect page can be shown in Polish, Romanian or Lithuanian alongside the English, which remains the official record. The collector still runs the session in English and an interpreter can join the call where one is needed.

A demo takes about thirty minutes over video. We will show you the kiosk, the collector console and the record an employer receives, and answer your questions about policy and roll-out.
